ima lazybastard... so, here's the recap of the past week, for anyone who ends up reading this sometime in the future...

1: yo la tengo rocked the fuckin shit outta alleykatz, as did the aislers set. amy linton's voice makes me smile inside and out. ira kaplan's a heluva guitar player, and a really nice guy to boot. oh, and the aislers set's bass player is t3h cute (pardon the leetspeak).

2. skywave, also, was fuckin' brilliant... with a second guitar player on permanent (i assume) loan from alcian blue... two great shows in one week, that hasn't happened in a while...

3. no rants about women this time (and thank god!)

4. no track frame yet... still got other shit to pay for...

5. this page still looks bland, but i'm too goddamn lazy to redesign it.

6. and finally, work still sucks, and i drink too much coffee

well, fresh bruises on the ol' heart, but that's nothing new... i mean, i'd kinda been in denial about lea and brian for a good long while, but i couldn't turn down a ride when i was stuck... i guess the whole "i'm gonna try dating girls" thing didn't work out too well for her... unless she was just saying that to get rid of me... ah well, fuck 'em both... not that i hate 'em now or anything (if anything, i hate myself for falling so hard for someone who i have absolutely fuck-all in common with)... but i think i'll be a little less casual around 'em (well her anyway) for a few weeks... fortunately i don't see her much anymore anyway...

track frame's still not here yet... nor are a few other items i ebayed in the recent past... fuckin' postal system...

on a more upbeat note, skywave's playing on the 12th, yo la tengo's a couple days before, and aura's birthday the day before that... hopefully i'll see her at ylt w/ xenia, maybe i'll give her a present... oh, and i have 3 friendsters now: courtney bennett, stephen cramer and superchunk... i wonder if calvin johnson will be my friend too...
